Tagliatelle with Chilli Squid

A sensational seafood dish.


In a saucepan of salted boiling water, cook 70g of tagliatelle according to the instructions on the packet. Meanwhile, in a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat, add the 1tsp of olive oil and sauté 100g fresh squid, washed, dried and cut into thin strips, for 3mins, then add2 chopped  tomatoes, 1 finely chopped small green and 1 small crushed garlic clove, and continue to sauté for a further 5mins over a low heat until the pasta is cooked.

Season with a little herb salt. To serve, drain the pasta once cooked and mix with the sauce, garnish with the chopped basil and eat with a green salad.
